Tsunami In Japan

Japan was again hit by an earthquake, this time scale ricter strength of 7.9 (SR). Tsunami warning was issued by local government.

Previously reported on Wednesday that the 7.2 Richter magnitude earthquake rocked Japan on Wednesday morning. The quake shook buildings hundreds of miles from Tokyo. Meteorological Agency immediately issued a tsunami warning.

Witnesses at the scene said that the earthquake lasted for 15 minutes.

"The earthquake has just happened in Tokyo approximately 15 minutes, the visitor who was watching the Disney Sea Disney Parade was an uproar," he said Widi Nugroho Sahib, Head of Corporate PR-Soho Group, while providing confirmation to Okezone.

Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said no tsunami warning was launched only in Japan, but also in Russia, Marcus Island and also the northern Marianas. Control of the tsunami are now underway in Guam archipelago, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia and the Hawaiian Islands.

The quake which hit at 2:46 pm local time at a depth of 10 kilometers, approximately 120 kilometers from the east coast. The region is located approximately 380 kilometers from the region north of Tokyo.
